  • Fine art prints are reproductions of original paintings, printed to order on premium 100% cotton, cold-pressed archival paper. They are borderless and ready to frame.

    Prints are made and shipped by my print partner, not packed here in the studio. Sizes 8"x10" and smaller ship flat in a protective sleeve with rigid backing. Larger sizes ship rolled in a mailing tube. Please allow up to 7 days before a print ships, then the carrier’s usual transit time.

    Please double-check the shipping address at checkout. Once a print order is placed, I cannot change the address.

    Some paintings are offered only in sizes that keep the original proportions. If a size is not listed, it is not available for that piece.

    The color on your screen may differ slightly from the print.

  • Original paintings are one of a kind. If a listing is available, only one exists. Add it to your cart as you would any other item.

    If a piece has already sold, in person or through the Shop, the listing will show as sold out. Sold work may also appear in the Gallery.

  • Custom portraits are not ordered through the Shop. Use the form on the Commissions page and tell me a little about what you have in mind. I will write back within 48 hours and ask for photos then.

    Most custom portraits are completed in 3–6 weeks, depending on the piece and the studio schedule. I will confirm the timeline and price before I begin.

  • Hand-painted ceramic globe ornaments are one of a kind. Each is varnished, tied with a velvet ribbon, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. When one sells, it is gone.

  • If you would like to talk about a collaboration, a small wholesale order, or licensing, email theinpencilstudio@gmail.com with a short note about the project. I read these myself and will reply if it is a good fit.

  • Screens vary. A print may look slightly different in your home than it does on your phone or computer.

  • Prints are made to order and shipped directly by my print partner. Please allow up to 7 days before a print ships, then the carrier’s usual transit time. Small prints ship flat. Larger prints ship in a mailing tube.

    Originals and ornaments are packed in the studio in Ohio and shipped with extra care.

    You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking when the order goes out.

    Please check the address before you place the order. Print orders are sent automatically to the printer, so the address usually cannot be changed after checkout. If you notice a mistake, email theinpencilstudio@gmail.com right away. If the print has not yet gone into production, I will try. After that, I cannot update it.

    For an original or an ornament, email theinpencilstudio@gmail.com right away. If it has not shipped from the studio, I can update the address. If it has already shipped, contact the carrier with the tracking number, and email me as well.

  • All sales are final. Prints are made to order, and originals and ornaments are one of a kind.

    If something arrives damaged, email theinpencilstudio@gmail.com within 7 days with a photo of the piece and the packaging. I will work with you on a replacement or another fair solution.

  • All artwork is copyright © Ellie Koutny. Buying a print, original, or ornament does not transfer copyright. The work may not be copied, reproduced, or used for products without permission.
